I got a reply from my complaint letter, and ya know, I'm sure hangin my head low. Ol' Jim explained it all to me and evidently, shame on me!
You see Muthuh, it turns out the HDMOCO would neeever put anything on a motorcycle just to entice you to buy more stuff. I mean, how dare me for making such a suggestion. I can't believe I even thought that - and even worse, I can't believe you didn't stop me. (Having trouble typing with my head hanging down) ...and also, that part about not being able to take a date to a HOG Member-only event? well, it turns out that when they allowed that, the HOG members themselves complained about non-members being there. It turns out that I'm the ONLY member that doesn't like paying extra. Now that I've had time to reflect, a have to agree that could happen. I myself have been known to protest loud and long over someone not charging me more. "What do you mean I'm not gonna be charged? Allright, step outside and we'll settle this..."
Apparently, the only thing Jim really agreed with was that I ended up with a good motorcycle. He seemed to latch on to the part where I said how much I liked the bike and actually had quite a bit to say about that. Really made me feel good again. Oh yeah, he was sorry to hear that I won't be re-newing. It sure upsets me to know I hurt him so. Oh well, I didn't get a gift certificate, I didn't get an apology, uuhhmm I didn't get an honest answer, but did I really expect one?
Hmm, sad to say but ya know, I really did expect a little more. Then again, I really was kinda expecting Santa this year, too.
