I already said what this site ISN'T all about. This site IS about motsly Harley rides across the backroads of this country and other adventures like hikes, vacations and journals I've written. I am based in North Carolina, so a lot of the trips are East Coast and Carolina specific, but these rides could be anywhere. The ARCHIVES is a list of past rides - thats where most of the enjoyment from this site comes from.

Dear Muthuh is a section where I post some of the many letters I receive, as well as some mini-ride reports from viewers. If your ride report has no pictures, it likely gets put in here. Anything you send to Muthuh may get put in here, so watch what ya say! If you have ride reports in journal format along with some pictures - send 'em on and I'll post them for ya in my ARCHIVES.

Imagine the wind blowing through your hair, the sun beating down on the back of your neck and the smell of days-old roadkill wafting up from the scorched pavement.... well, ok - so perhaps you should skip that last one, but it is all a part of the freedom and adventure of motorcycling. So, what is it this time? Wife won't let you go on a ride with the guys? (Husband won't let you go on a ride with the guys?) Boss won't let you off again this week? Scooter don't wanna run again?

Every trip has an informative, irreverant, humorous and picture-full journal that you can read and follow along. The thumbnail pictures in the journal are clickable so you can see full views! Most are one-page journals, some are multi-page website formats....all are picture-filled and give a good flavor for the ride.

You'll soon discover that what this is all about is not the destination, fool.... it's the RIDE. Muthuh may be on a run to a rally or a famous landmark, but it'll just be another stop on the ride. Much like the old TV series, "Then came Bronson", where Michael Parks sits at a stoplight atop his Sportster, a man in a suit pulls up next to him in his sedan, looking at the bike longingly, asks where's he headed... Bronson looks off into the sunset and says... "Where ever I end up, I guess".

As they say.."If I have to explain... you wouldn't understand".
