put your cursor in the lower-right corner of the image to make it full-size) ![]() The 700 miles home from Memphis was nothing but a long drive on Interstate, listening to yet another audio book. The timing was perfect, ending just miles from home. I had considered stopping in Knoxville for drinks with a reader of this stuff, but I went through at 1:30 pm and knew I had a long ride beyond that and didn't want to drink before the rest of the ride home, so Qwaz... sorry I missed ya again! That pretty much does it for me this trip... once I got behind the wheel of the car, the ride was mentally over with anyway. 2400 miles of Interstate hauling the bike and 2350 miles riding the bike out west made for a great trip for me... a little shitty weather on two of the days, but nothing I hadn't expected. Hope ya enjoyed a little bit of the journal... This last image is the GPS on the summary screen (it has quite a few different screens) showing the total seat-time (45 hours), total miles (2273mi) average and maximum speeds. I'm here to tell ya that 91 mph towing a trailer gave no sense that it was anything but capable of more... I just doubt I will ever go that fast again towing a trailer.
