You'll note in most of my rides, the pictures I take are of other people and scenery. Well, mostly because I have the damned camera. But at risk of looking vain, several people have asked for pics of me without having to go through every page of the WebSite to find 'em mixed in with the Ride Reports. If you got to this page (well, I suppose you did didn'tcha?) you did so by accident or was directed here, 'cause I don't have an identified link to it.

These are gonna take a long time to load on a dial-up connection, but that's your problem. Don't leave til you see the last pic...I saved the best for last.

This be me and Ol' Huck, a '99 FLHTCUI, Harley-speak for an Electra Glide Ultra Classic. If you're interested in the bike, check out the TOURING TIPS page, which shows closeups of the several extras I have equipped it with for my rides. This pic was taken by professional photographer and riding buddy, Hatchetman, in his studios. It was about 3am and we were well into a bottle of Cuervo. What ya can't see is my other foot has no shoe or sock on it...and I had to put that right boot on while sitting on the bike so as not to scuff up his nice white studio floor.

Various shots of me over the years. That last one is on one of Hatchetman's bikes, "The Shotgun", named for obvious reasons. It was a cover bike on Biker Magazine a few yrs ago. We were riding through Fort Bragg one time and it fell off, bouncing along the highway and run over by a large truck behind me. It wasn't pretty and scared the shit outta the driver of the truck. I rode this bike often for over a year and never got more than a couple friendly waves from the law.

Didja ever notice how that guy on
Sam Adams beer looks a lot like me?

Me and Huck on the Ormond Loop Ride north of Daytona this spring ('02). What you can't see here is by this same evening in Savannah, GA, I was some kinda serious sick, and by the next night back home in NC I got in bed and stayed there for 4 days with Acute Bronchitus. Hate them 600+ mile rides when you're feeling like shit.

Kim at the Firehole River at Old Faithful, Yellowstone, NP on the Sturgis Trip.

Kim and I on a non-bike trip in '01 to Alaska...but I put the whole trip report including a ton of pictures on the site anyway - check out the Archives for the "Northern Exposure" Alaska Trip if you wanna see more of this beautiful state.

Kim and I on the way to Myrtle Beach in '01, stopping off to visit an Internet friend for coffee. She and I both were grabbing Kim's butt at the time.

Same trip a couple dozen Budweisers later.

Staying with friends in Savannah on the way to Daytona '01.

In Myrtle Beach, well, Murrells Inlet actually, with Tom, the owner, and Carm, the barmaid at Bullfeathers Bar...my hangout when in town.

Kim and I with the group on the Sturgis '00 trip - this is at the base of the Grand Tetons north of Jackson Hole Wyoming. Kim just flew in to JH Airport, and we just met up with Jay and Susan (right) for the rest of the trip to SD.

Me and Uncle Roy - owner of the Rider's Roost Motorcycle Only Campground in the mountains of NC.

My youngest daughter and I on a 3 day ride to the VA mountains.

If I had to explain - you wouldn't understand.

The day after I got Ol' Huck...had to take it for a ride, even in the snow!

Relaxing with an Arturo Fuente between bar stops.

Christmas '05

Saved the best for last. This was taken on a Photoshoot assignment for Easyriders Magazine. Obviously this pc didn't get in there, but the shoot was featured in the winter of '99/'00 - can't recal which issue. The beard was just starting to get white in '99! I was helping Hatchetman on the shoot as Hairlight guy and nipple-tweaker...hey! There really is such a position during photoshoots!
